Established in 1910 as a standing ode to the violin maestro Thirumala Chowdiah, this grand auditorium is shaped like a seven-stringed violin. Credited with the tinkering of the 4 stringed violins to introduce the first seven-stringed violin, the legacy of Thirmula Chowdiah is remembered and revered by this magnificent auditorium. With excellent acoustics and a splendid architecture, the music in this hall is truly alive.
