Western In India and several other countries music such as pop, rock and other genres that originated in the west of India are referred as western. Western music is a form of country music composed by and about the people who settled and worked throughout the Western United States and Western Canada. The Western is a genre of fiction set in the American frontier and commonly associated with folk tales of the Western United States, particularly the Southwestern United States, as well as Northern Mexico and Western Canada.
