Hamsadhwani Creations nurture classical arts in general, and Carnatic music in particular. It is the brainchild of popular musician Vid MS Sheela and her husband Prof B K Ramaswamy. Hamsadhwani now completes 8 years of service to the music world. Hamsadhwani has conducted a series of concerts. 'Haridasanamana' was a very successful series of 10 concerts. A one of its kind series, 'Haridasa Namana' featured eminent artists of Karnataka. Some names on the list are Dr. RK Srikantan, Vid Vidyabhushan, Vid S Shankar. It also includes Vid MS Sheela, Vid Sukanya Prabhakar, and Vid Dr. TS Sathyavathi. The series got an overwhelming response from the connoisseurs. 'Vadya Vaibhava' was a series dedicated to the glory of instrumental music. The inaugural concert was by Vid M Nagaraj and Dr. M Manjunath. 'Vadya Vaibhava' next featured a concert by Ganakalashree Vid D Balakrishna. The series concluded with Veena, Violin, & Flute trio performed by young musicians. Hamsadhwani Creations conducted another special programme in 2004. ‘Vaggeya Vaibhava’ is Hamsadhwani’s attempt to address this paucity. Hamsadhwani also intends to bring out notations in the form of booklets.
