Jyothi Heddese is a trained dancer in Indian classical dance Bharathanatyam for the past 20+ years. She was initiated by Guru Prathibha Prahalad and continued her training under the able guidance of Guru Prof. M. R. Krishnamurthy at Kalakshithi, Bangalore . She has completed senior in Classical Bharathanatyam examination conducted by KSEEB, Bangalore with distinction . She is an engineer (B.E.degree holder in Telecommunication) from Bangalore University and M S( E&C) from San Jose state university, California. Presently pursuing MFA(Bharatanatyam) from Kalaikaviri University, Trichy. She is learning classical music with Smt.Prabha.She has performed in USA, Doordarshan, Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya academy and Kalakshiti's Rukmini Devi Arundale's birthday celebrations.She runs her own dance school "Dhaatri school of Dance" in Bangalore.She has given workshops at schools in Bengaluru about importance of dance . She has choreographed many dances for Kannada koota of Northen california and has also participated in dance dramas in Bangalore and USA. She has conducted summer camps for kids in in USA and Bangalore. She is an avid traveller and enjoys gardening and crafts in her leisure time
