SaPa is a premier music institute based in Bangalore. Founded in 2007 by the world renowned violinist Dr. Lakshmanarayana Subramaniam and Bollywood playback marvel Kavita Krishnamurthi Subramaniam, SaPa music academy aims with pass on the torch of music to the next generation and - creating global music exchange and dialogues Teaching Indian Classic and Western styles of music to a broad age group, starting from 3 years old to adults, the SaPa Center of Excellence helps budding musicians with their qualified courses, which also comprise of workshops with eminent music makers. SaPa also prides itself in its SaPa in School (SiS) Program aimed at adding the rhythm of Indian Classical music to the lives of school going children. This course primarily focuses on making children, from nursery till X, gain an interest and appreciation for music and master their basics in the same. With a faculty including prominent and acclaimed musicians including Bindu Subramanian, Ambi Subramanian, Kanchana S. Shruthiranjani and Raghunandan Berkadavu, the classes are equipped to start and progress the musical journey of its students. SaPa also has ties with Norwegian Music Academy on Music Educator Training and conducts workshops for teachers to help integrate music into their classes.
