Sri. S G Pramath Kiran a well know percussionist from South of India hails from a family of art connoisseurs. He is a Tabla and Dholak Player. He is also a Composer and Sound Engineer. He is also trained in Indian Classical music. He played several world percussions like Djembe, Congas, and Cajon etc. Pramath Kiran is the founder member of Layatharanga. It is one of India's top world music bands featuring Indian and world percussion. He is also part of Chakrafonics. It features Kannada poetry in South Asian contemporary music. These bands have produced many singles and albums. These are very popular amongst the youth. Laya Digi ( Music recording studio ) is the brainchild of Pramath. It is one of Bangalore’s biggest facilities in live recordings and post-production.
