Founded in 2005 and registered as a Trust in 2008, Rhythmotion is a non profit Indian classical and contemporary dance company and a dance school that specializes in three dance styles including Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Indian contemporary dance. Artistic Director Chitra Arvind is the force behind Rhythmotion. Training is provided in the Indian classical dance forms of Kathak and Bharatanatyam, and Contemporary dance techniques including Graham, Cunningham, Contact improvisation, yoga, Pilates, martial arts forms of Kalaripayattu, Chhau and folk arts forms.
