About

Mudrika Foundation has it's origin since 1978, from the town of Udipi. The school offers Bharatnatyam as the main course, both theory and practical classes. It is now guided and managed by the Kalakshetra graduate Smt.Minal Prabhu. The purpose of the Mudrika school is to "create artists not dancers". It teaches the dancers to consider margam as an enlightenment for performance and to emanate spirituality. The students follow the nritta style that focuses to let abhinayas flow from the inner soul. The school instills a sense of commitment, professionalism and discipline in students. These values, offers opportunity for the students to preform at various venues and dance festivals around the world
