Smt. Minal Prabhu is a passionate Bharatnatyam dancer and a student of Kalakshetra. She is the leading guru for several contemporary Bharatnatyam dancers in India. Minal runs the school "Mudrika Foundation for Indian Performin Arts" at Bangalore. She is a passionate teacher and imparts the values and dance styles of Kalakshetra. Minal choreographs solo and group performances presented all over India and abroad. She teaches esthetics at Natya Institute of Kathak and Bharathanatyam at Attakalari Center. She also conducts dance workshops at The Srutilaya Institute, Singapore. Minal has released several CDs and DVDs to self learn Bharatnatyam, covering basic theories and margams.
