Kulpati Dr. Kanhaiyalal Maneklal Munshiji. Dr. Munshhiji set up Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in 1938. Bhavan is the brain-child of Dr. K M Munshi, a visionary. It enjoys an enviable a reputation in the service of arts, education ,and culture. It had its aim of promoting and propagating Indian values and culture. The Institute aimed to promote literature, Music, Dance and other fine arts. Dr. Munshi was a versatile personality. He was a lawyer, creative writer, freedom fighter, administrator, organization-builder. Classes offered are Sanskrit and Yoga, Karnataka and Hindustani Classical Music. They also provide Courses in Communication and Management, Diploma Courses in Astrology.
