The Founder and Director of this Academy is Usha Venkateswaran. She is a brilliant choreographer. She got trained in traditional Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Manipuri classical styles. She has also learned Lithuanian dance and choreography. She was an ambassador for India's culture through dance all over the world. She brought these experiences for the Indian stage as director of Natyalakshana Akademy.
