Karnataka Gana Kala Parishat was formed by very eminent and devoted musicians of Karnataka in 1969. Legendary musicians like Vidwan Honnappa Bhagavatar, L S Sheshagiri Rao, A.Veerabhadraiah and others headed this Organization as presidents. The very purpose and objective of the organization is to promote the art forms giving priority to local talent.
