He is an upcoming, talented young vocalist of today in the North Indian Classical style ‘Khayal’. He is born and brought up in Tehri Garhwal, small District of Uttarakhand. He had his initial training under the tutelage of Sh. Suchit Narang, Disciple of Smt. Madhuri Mattoo of Kirana Gharana in Dehradun. Later he came to Delhi as part of higher education and took advanced Talim from Guru Padmashree Late Ustad Hafeez Ahmed Khan of Rampur- Sahswan Gharana and also from Padmashree Smt. Shubha Mudgal. Currently, he is taking advance Talim from renowned Master Padmashree Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar. Apart from this, he had a great fortune to receive blessings and guidance from eminent scholars like Sulochana Brahaspati, Krishna Bisht, Pandit Anant Lal and many others. He took Doctoral Degree (Music) on the topic ‘Pandit ramshraya jha vyaktitva avam krititva’ in the University of Delhi by December 2013 under the guidance of Dr Shilendra Goswami. He has worked as a Director, workshop conducted by Sahitya Kala Parishad, Govt. of Delhi, Delhi, continuously for the year 2011 & 2012 (May - June). He received “Junior Research fellowship” from Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India in 2009. He has been giving performances in Delhi and outside Delhi. He is Involved in lecture cum demonstrations and also published articles in University journals.
