About
Smt. Uma Nagabhushan hails from Tumkur and belongs to a family known for its passion for music. She has won accolades from music critics and people in general. In the year 1987, she started Mysore School of Music at Dombivli in Mumbai. She now teaches music to hundreds of students.
Activities:
1) Music Education: Vocal (Carnatic/Hindustani), Violin, Veena, Mandolin, Mridangam, Devarnama and Sugam Sangeeth, Harmonium, Tabla, Abhanga and Bharatnatyam.
2) Teaching is being done as per the syllabus of Karnataka Govt. music examination board and sending students for examinations every year.
3) Organising cultural functions such as Shri Ganapathy festival, Navaratri celebrations, Santavani music competitions and Shri Purandaradasa & Shri Thyagaraja Aradhana Celebrations every year
