Smt B K Vasanthalakshmi is Purandara Prashasthi award winner. She has trained in Kalakshetra, Chennai. She has completed her Vidwath (Proficiency) in first class in the year 1998 and performed Guruvandana in the year 2001 May. With her husband Sri G.S. Nagesh she has performed on many stages and many festivals all over India. Her husband G.S. Nagesh is the founder & President of Natya Bharathi (R) (Trust). Her students are now renowned dancers. She is currently living in Bangalore.
