FAMILY TRADITION IN MUSIC: I got inspiration in Music from my family itself. In our Mallick Gharana enriched the Gauhar Bani which was introduced by Late Pt. Radha Krishna and Kartaram the followers of this Mallick Gharana from Tansen to Bhupat Khan. My grandfather Padamshree Late Pt. Ramchatur Mallick who was a great mastro of Dhrupad under this tradition which flourished in the Royal Court of Darbhanga. At present this tradition is being following by S.N.A. Awardee & Dhrupad Rantna Awardee Pt. Abhay Narayan Mallick who is my father and a leading Dhrupad Exponent of this era.
