Vid. Sangeetha Srinidhi is a famous Veena and Carnatic vocal musician. Born into a family of musicians, her training in music started as early as 6 years of age. She learnt Madras Bani Veena under the guidance of Prof. V. Lalitha, for 25 years. She also had the guidance of Rajalakshmi Tirunarayanan, R.K.Srikantan, T.S.Satyavathi and Vijaya Subrahmanyam. Vid. Sangeetha is an "A" grade artist in All India Radio. She has performed several programmes for AIR and Doordarshan channels in Bangalore. Sangeetha has taken part in national level music competitions and won many prizes. She has performed many solo concerts at leading sabhas and music festivals in India. Her accompaniment with other musicians earned her positive reviews. She has toured all over the world for her concerts and received rave reviews. Sangeetha has conducted many workshops, lectures on several aspects of music. Being a Veena and Vocal instructor, she is imparting music to several students for past 30 years. She has also released many devotional songs and albums involving special needs children. She is currently working as a Principal, in BASE PU College, Mysuru.
