Sandhya Shankar is a popular Carnatic vocalist and music scholar, from Bangalore. She had her initial vocal training from Vasantalakshmi and later from Sri Raghavendra. She also trained under Dr.Sukanya Prabhakar and Smt.Neela Ramgopal. She has completed her PhD in music from Bangalore University.

Sandhya has performed at many leading sabhas and music festivals in the city.
