Kalasri Pustakam Ramaa is a prominent Carnatic musician, born into a musical family. She had the inclination to learn music from her very young age. Her aunt Smt. M. K. Saraswati taught her music and later she became the disciple of T.R. Srinivasan. Her immense interest in music won her laurels from the competitions she participated. After her graduation in music, she took intense training from Smt. Nagamani Srinath and R. K. Srikantan to hone her skills. Her melodious voice enlightens the audience in a spiritual way. She is a preferred choice for classical dancers, to render her voice for their recitals. Ramaa is an "A" group artist in Classical vocal, Devotional music and Light music groups of All India Radio (AIR). She has performed at several concerts and music festivals in India and abroad. She is the recipient of many awards and accolades for her contribution to music.
