Raghu B K started learning violin at the age of eight years. He has performed at various prestigious events all over India and abroad. He has received many awards for his excellent performances. He received the “Kishore Prathibhe” award from the Karnataka Government and “Ananya Puraskara” award from Ananya, a prestigious sabha, well known for encouraging young artists. B K Raghu is an "A” graded artist from the All India Radio, Bangalore. He has performed in the presence of Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, the then President of India. He has performed during many important music festivals at various cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, and Chennai. He has also performed at Tanzania and Dubai Music festival. He has received a scholarship from Center for Cultural Resources and Training, New Delhi. He is a member of The Vidyouth fusion team.
