Pandit Kishore Banerjee is a versatile musician of national and international repute. He has learnt from his illustrious father Late Pt. Manik Lal Banerjee who was a worthy disciple of Ustad Keramatullah Khan Sahab. Later on, Kishore Banerjee became the disciple of Legendary Guru Padmabhushan Pandit Gyan Prakash Ghosh. Kishore is a commerce graduate (B.Com) and a masters degree holder in music (sangeet Praveen) in Tabla from Allahabad. He is also a Bachelor in Music (B.Mus) in classical vocal and harmonium. He is "A" grade tabla player from all India radio, Delhi and he is also associated with Prayag Sangit samity as an examiner of all subjects in music. He has been awarded The title of "Sangeet Kala Ratna" at Patna for his contribution in music. He teaches Tabla, Vocal, Harmonium, Kathak Dance, Rhythm, Skill, Music Composing, Musical Calculations, Dholak, Naal, Octopad, Keyboard and Congo.
