Sri. Prashanth began his tutelage from Vid. R K Padmanabha. For a short period, Prashanth was under the guidance of Vid. Titte Sri Krishna Iyengar, who was the Asthana Vidwan at the Royal Palace of Mysore. Prashanth continued his journey of learning from the Smt. Neela Ramgopal. Prashanth is currently learning from Prof. R Visweswaran. Prashanth is an Engineering Graduate in Instrumentation Technology from the University of Mysore. His flair and devotion to the art have brought about the musician in him. Prashanth is ‘B-High’ grade artist from the All India Radio (Prasar Bharthi). Prashanth has enthralled his audiences in several National and International forums. Prashanth was a senior faculty at The Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society, Singapore. He taught Carnatic classical music from 2001 to 2007. He got promoted to the level of Master Tutor in the year 2012. Prashanth then rose to the post of Academy Registrar. He served the institution from the year 2013 to 2016. He was also a Principal Tutor during these years mentoring senior students.
