Veteran Kanjira artist Late Sri. H P Ramachar is the director of ‘Mahila Laya Madhuri’. It is a unique percussion ensemble of women percussionists. His music heritage is getting carried forward by his daughter Latha Ramachar. She is a popular young percussionist.
