Sri. Mysore L Vadiraj began Mridangam training under Sri P G Lakshminarayana of Mysore. He learned all the nuances of Mridangam in Gurukulavasam for about 8yrs. As a young Mridangist, he won many prizes in all the sabhas in Karnataka. He received further training from Vidwan Bangalore Shri H.S Sudhindra. Later he joined Sri Thiruvarur Bakthavatsalam in 2010. In 2012. He moved to Chennai, to pursue advanced training in a traditional gurukula system. And very soon he started performing in all prestigious sabhas and organizations. He is a graded Artist of All India Radio & Doordarshan (television) Chennai. He has secured 2nd Rank in Vidwath examination. He has also toured abroad for many concerts & workshops. He also trains many students in Mridangam & other Carnatic percussion instruments. He trains worldwide through online media & also has branches in Chennai & Mysore.
