L.V.Mukund is one of the popular flautists, in the field of Carnatic music. He is born into the family of Belakavadi, which is famous for their musical contributions. He is the disciple of Dr.N.Ramani. Mukund has performed at leading sabhas and music festivals in South India. He is the recipient of awards like "Ganakalashree', 'Sur Manu', 'Ananya Yuva Puraskara', for his contribution to music. Mukund, apart from his music career, teaches students from underprivileged backgrounds. He assists his father in his coaching institute, teaching Maths and Physics.
