She has passed Vidwat Proficiency Examination, conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Board in 2005 She got trained by ‘Ganakalabhushana’ Smt. R.A. RAMAMANI and Smt. HEMALATHA SAMPATH IYENGAR. She is undergoing further training under R.A. RAMAMANI. She received the award ‘University Blue’ in the Inter-collegiate Youth Festival Classical Music Competition held at Karnataka University Dharwad. The award was presented by the Late Padmavibhooshan Dr Smt. Gangubai Hangal. She was a Faculty in Carnatic Classical Vocal Music in Institutes in Bangalore such as Rhythms Chandra Layout Vijayanagar, Veena Maharaj Shri Parvathikar Institute of Music Indiranagar.
