Sri. Hosahalli Venkatram Raghuram is one of leading violinist, in Bangalore. He is the son of legendary violinist Sri H. K. Venkatram. Raghuram started his training in violin from the age of 8, under the tutelage of his father. His first performance was at the age of 14, alongside his guru and father H.K.Venkatram. He also took rigorous training under his uncle H.K.Subba Rao. In chennai, he spent 10 years under the tutelage of Lalgudi Sri Jayaraman. His extensive training with legends have made him a exemplary Violinist. He is famous for recreating the unique Lalgudi Bani.
Raghuram has performed as a solo, with eminent musicians and with his gurus as trio concerts. He has given performances all over the world along side several legendary musicians. In India, he has performed in most of the prestigious sabhas. He is B High grade artist of AIR. He has won several awards and titles in his career. Youth Excellence award, Best Young Accompaniment and Asthana Vidwan he achieved in music.
H V Raghuram is a passionate teacher and is keen to impart his knowledge to the younger generation. He trains close to 100 students from Chennai, Bangalore, Shimoga and Belgaum. He also heads and teaches violin at Arunodaya School of Music, Bangalore. Raghuram motivates the students for performance, teaching them unique fingering techniques. Many of his students have taken part in several competitions and won prizes. Raghuram teaches students from all over the world through online.
