Gopi is a most proficient percussionist and a world musician. He got his inspiration from his father, who was a mridangist. He has trained under Pandit Suresh Talwalker and Percussion Maestro Trilok Gurtu. Gopi has keen interest in experimenting with several percussion instruments. As a versatile artist, apart from playing drums, he plays all other instruments with ease and innovation. Gopi is part of World Music Conservatory group, encouraging several music talents.
