G Raj Narayan is one of the famous flautists and an innovator, based in Bangalore. Raj is an entrepreneur by profession, founder of Radel Group, Bangalore. Born into a family of musicians, he has an avid interest in Carnatic music. He is a well-known Flautist and has performed at Carnatic and Hindustani style concerts in India. Being an "A" graded artist, many of his recitals were a part of AIR and Doordarshan programmes. Raj has received "Sur Mani", "Ananya Awards" and "Karnataka Kalashree" for his contributions in the field of music. Raj Narayan designed the electronic Shruthi box, digital tambura, tabla and talam meter. What he developed to use it for his personal purpose, turned out to be one of the biggest innovations. His innovations marketed under Radel-Group turned out to be most sought-after electronics. Raj is the recipient of "Rajyotsava Award", "Govt of India National Award for R&D" and "Young Electronics Engineer”, for his innovations.
