Hailing from the Pandanallur School of Dance, Dr.Soundarya Srivathsa, a disciple of Guru Smt Narmada is one of the most sought after soloists today. Chiselled lines, impeccable footwork, consummate Abhinaya and absorbing stage presence have always made Soundarya a favourite of the audience wherever she has performed. Having learnt the varied aspects of Abhinaya under Guru B Bhanumathi, Soundarya has extensively performed all over India in major dance festivals and Sabhas as well as toured to USA, The Netherands, Australia and Europe. She is a gold medalist in Master's degree in Bharatanatyam, an A Top artiste of Doordarshan and a PhD holder in Bharatanatyam from the Bangalore University. Soundarya Srivathsa along with her husband, renowned musician Vidwan DS Srivathsa run Nartana Keerthana Centre for arts where they impart training to passionate students.
