She is A Top ranking Violinist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. She has received the awards Yuva Kala Bharati and Nada Oli in the years 2000 and 2002 respectively. She has received the title Sangeetha Sapta sagara in the year 2014. She has received the title Vani Kala Nipuna from Sri Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha in the year 2016. She has Presented a Lecture Demonstration on the 'Notational Variations in the kritis of Tyagaraja in the earlier publications' at the Annual Music Conference of The Music Academy, Chennai on 20.12.2016. She has Presented a Joint Lecture Demonstration with Dr. Rajshri Sripathy, on the 'Variations in the Patantaras in the Tyagaraja Kritis' at Sree Shanmukhananda Sangeetha Sabha and Fine Arts, Mumbai on 7.05.2017. She did a Paper presentation on "Kudanthai Pa. Sundaresanarin Cilappadikara vilakkangal' at the Kudanthai Sundaresanar Birth centenary commemorative Seminar conducted by The Department of Music.
