Dr. Ashok Madhav is a well known composer, residing in United States. He has composed several Kritis, Varnas, thillanas, which is in use by other composers. He has developed " 72 melakarta" composition in South Indian languages. Ashok is the author of the book "Melakarta Ganamalika" , having all his compositions. He has created two new ragas "Hamsakalyani" and "Hamsangi".
