D.K Nagarajan is a famous Carnatic Vocalist, brother of the legendary D.K. Pattammal. He began his vocal training at a young age, with his sister as the guru. He honed his skills by training under several legendary musicians, of his time. Vid. Nagarajan learnt under Sri.V.C. Vaithyanathan, Sri. N.S. Krishnaswami Ayyangar, Sri. Ambi Dikshadar, Justice T.L.Vekatarama Iyer, Sri. Papanasam Sivan, to name a few, as their disciple. He has toured along with his sister D.K. Pattammal and had performed at several concerts in India and abroad. His performances with his brother D.K. Jayaraman were well received by the audience. He has received several awards and accolades for his contribution to music in India and abroad.
