• He is the Disciple and nephew of renowned Violin and Harmonium artiste Vid. Shri. B Raghuram, Achyutha Rao has been learning Carnatic music since the age of nine. • He has accompanied many senior and upcoming contemporary artistes of this generation. • His style of rendition is of traditional purity, and as an accompanist he supports the concert by grasping the nuances of the lead artists' renditions with clarity. • A recipient of many awards and scholarships, with many kutcheris at prestigious sabhas across the country and many recordings to his credit, Vid. Achyutha Rao is an Engineer by profession, currently working at EMC2, a technical firm in Bengaluru. • Apart from playing in Carnatic classical and Fusion Concerts, Achyutha Rao has played in albums of various genres.
