A P Srinivas is the son of popular Flutist A V Prakash. AP Srininvas is a Carnatic Violinist. S V Sahana is one of the acclaimed Veena artists of the country today. She is the wife of A P Srinivas. She is the disciple of M J Srinivasa Iyengar. She flowered into a concert artist at the age of fourteen. Sahana is also one among the select disciples of the Veena and vocal virtuoso, T N Seshagopalan. She is taking her advanced training under Dr. T V Gopalakrishnan. Sahana is a master degree holder in Veena. She is an “A” graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. She has secured the first rank in the senior examination. She got distinction in the Vidwath exam in Veena. She has published many articles in reputed magazines & newspapers. She has also presented seminars at national & international conferences.
