Vivek Sadhasivam is an upcoming Carnatic vocalist, from Bangalore. He comes from a family of "shishya parampara" of Muthuswami Dikshitar. His parents Revathi Sadhasivam and A. Sadhasivam are well-known musicians. He had his initial training from his grandfather and great-aunt Champakavalli. He trained under his parents for a few years as well. At the age of 12, he trained under the tutelage of "Rudrapatnam Thyagarajan" and continues to do so. Vivek also trains under the famous Sanjay Subramaniam, in Chennai. With Sanjay as his lead, Vivek has learnt several nuances and skills of Carnatic music. Vivek is performing at several concerts held at Bangalore. He assists and under the mentorship of L Subramaniam at "Academy of Performing Arts ".
