Pandit Vishwanth Nakod is a noted tabla player and singer. He comes from a family of classical musicians. Pandit Arjunsa Nakod (father) was an eminent vocalist, which Rajendra took his initial training under. He also trained under his elder brothers Pandit Raghunath Nakod and Sri Vishwanath Nakod, who are extraordinary tabla player as well. Rajendra is an A grade artiste at the All India Radio. He has performed at many classical music festivals, accompanying many famous musicians as well as solo performances.
