Vani Sateesh is an exemplary Carnatic musician, from Bangalore. At her early age, her father Bellary. M. Venkateshachar and her uncle Bellary M Sheshagiri Achar (Bellary Brothers) took her as their disciple. Her interest in music knew no bounds and continues to pursue music under the tutelage of Padmabhushana Sri P.S.Narayanaswamy, direct disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. From the age of 10, she is giving performances in Carnatic music, and has been all over India and Abroad. Vani performs jugalbandi with several eminent Hindustani Classical musicians. She has a master’s degree in Music and has won “Young Artist” scholarships in her tenure.She is an “A” grade artist and a “B High” graded composer of All India Radio (AIR). Vani Sateesh is a Carnatic vocalist with excellent tonal quality, soulful renditions and creative exposition of the ragas to make a good listening experience. She was born in Bangalore, Karnataka. She hails from a family of Carnatic musicians going back many generations. Thousands of students have come in contact with this family and many of them have put themselves into the service of the fine arts in their own way. Vani Sateesh started performing at a young age. Her first concert was at the age of 10; since then she has not looked back. Around the age of 18, she started performing with tala vadya concerts which improved her control and appreciation towards laya vadyas. Vani Sateesh's core strength and love have always been bhakti and singing compositions filled with bhakti-rasa. She is an "A" grade artist of All India Radio in Carnatic Classical Vocal. Vani moved to the USA after her marriage and started performing extensively outside of India. Vani Sateesh is an energetic teacher who had started her teaching carrier at an age of 18 by teaching her fathers students when he was unable to attend to them. During her stay in the USA, she realised that she could help the Indian children born in the US to link to our music and culture and she was able to provide it to hundreds of them by teaching Carnatic music. Many of them have reached proficiency and a few have pursued to become concert artists. Vani Sateesh is a Carnatic vocalist. Vani Sateesh was born in Bangalore, Karnataka. She hails from a family of Carnatic musicians going back many generations. Her great grandfather Mundarigi Narasimhachar (1855–1940) belonged to Haridasa Parampara of Vijaya Dasaru, a prominent Haridasa of Karnataka. Her grandfather Mundarigi Raghavendrachar (1896–1944) was a musician well versed in many disciplines of music and was a professor of music at Queen Mary college in Chennai (contemporary of Prof P. Sambamurthy). Her father, Sangeetha Kala Ratna (awarded by Bangalore Gayana Samaja) Bellary. M. Venkateshachar is a carnatic classical vocalist and her uncle Bellary M Sheshagiri Achar was a Vaggeyakara (composer of lyrics and music). Her uncle and father were known as 'Bellary Brothers' and performed in most parts of India during the 1950s and 1960s. The recent lineage of five generations known as 'Vishesha Parampara' spans over 130 years. Every generation has been involved in teaching, performing, composing and spreading fine arts knowledge in many remote parts of Karnataka. Thousands of students have come in contact with this family and many of them have put themselves into the service of the fine arts in their own way. Vani Sateesh's initial training was under the tutelage of her uncle Bellary M. Sheshagiri Achar. She later learnt from her father Bellary M. Venkateshachar and then from her brother Bellary M Raghavendra. She is currently under the tutelage of Padmabhushana Sri P.S.Narayanaswamy, direct disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer.
