Tushar and Pooja Bhatt are well-known Kathaakars of Bengaluru. They balance traditional arts with contemporary designs and serve Kathak in many ways. They aim to reach out to Teaching, Choreographing and Dancing Kathak, worldwide. Tushar Bhatt is a disciple of Guru Shri Dharamshi Bhai Shah – Bhavnagar, Gujarat. He is Graduate in Kathak from the University Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal. He is an auditioned artist for Doordarshan. Pooja Bhatt is a disciple of renowned Kathak Guru Shri Abhimanyu Lal. She holds a Foundation Degree and Diploma from National Institute Of Kathak Dance. She studied at Kathak Kendra, Delhi. The duo has performed in many prestigious festivals in India as well abroad. They are the Founders of Kathak Dance Company Kathaakar.
