Thirukkarugavur Srinivasaraghavan is one of the senior most Carnatic vocal performers. He had his early training in vocal from his father, a Nadaswaram Vidwan by profession. He went to train for his advanced vocal career under Shri. Krishna Baghavathar and Shri Vasu Bhagavathar. He also underwent an intensive training from Swamimalai Shri.S.Janakirama Iyer. Srinivasaraghavan has performed at several concerts in Trichy, Tanjore and Chennai. He is an "A" grade artist in All India Radio (AIR). He is a passionate teacher and has trained several students. Few of his disciples like Dr Ganesh are successful Carnatic vocalists.
