Smt. T S Vasantha Madhavi is a Vidhushi in Carnatic Vocal. Smt. Vasantha is a casual artist and approved Composer for AIR and Doordarshan. She has directed featured programs with national importance, for Radio and TV. Smt. Vasantha has conducted several workshops and demonstrations on the works of Thyagaraja's and Muthuswamy Dikshithar. She has also composed varnams for Bharatnatyam recitals. Her translation of kritis to several south Indian languages is well applauded. She is an active contributor to magazines, in publishing different aspects of music. Vasantha serves as an examiner for Music grade exam and also authors several books for them. Vasantha Madhavi is the Founder and Principal of "Ragasree College of Music". She has trained several talented and promising students from her college. Many of her trained students have attained a reputable position in giving concerts. She has earned Kovida degree and her compositions in Sanskrit are popular.
