Srividya Angara got introduced to Kuchipudi at a tender age. For more than twenty-five years, her journey with the dance style has continued. She holds a diploma in Kuchipudi from the Telugu University in Hyderabad. Under the tutelage of her guru, Smt. Vijaya Valli Priya, she imbibed the rigorous technique of the Kuchipudi nritta. She learned this along with the subtle art of abhinaya. She was the winner at the 27th Annual Choreographers' showcase. It was in College Park, Maryland. This was also at the Norristown Dance Festival, in Pennsylvania. She got invited to present lecture demonstrations at the University of Virginia. She got invited to the Ohio State University also. Srividya is a graded artiste with Doordarshan. She is also an impaneled artiste of the South Zone Cultural Centre.
