About
Sriharsha Ramkumar is a famous Flautist, from Bangalore. Being born into a family of musicians, he developed an interest in the same from the age of 4. His father Late K.S.Ravikumar is a Mridangam performer, was a mentor and guide for Sriharsha. He started his formal training in flute under the guidance of Srinivas Murthy, at the age of 6.
Sriharsha has performed at several national and international concerts, alongside eminent musicians. He has toured and performed at many places in America and Middle Eastern countries. He has won several music competitions held at national level. So far, he has performed at 1000+ stage shows, for the past 20 years. He leads a band "Hamsadhwani" collaborating with many eminent musicians and local artists.
Sriharsha has received many awards and titles for his contribution to Carnatic music. He is the recipient of awards like "Prathiba Puraskara" and many other recognitions.
