He has studied Guitar from western teachers. He passed from Trinity College, London Examinations in Guitar from Delhi Center. He has more than 10 years experience of teaching Guitar. He is teaching and preparing students for Prayag Sangit Samiti, Allahabad and Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, and Trinity College, London Guitar Music examinations. He has also studied Vocal Classical and has given vocal performances also. He is regularly invited to play Guitar/sing at various performances. He has won prizes as Most Romantic Performer, Most Entertaining Performer and Rock Bollywood Guitarist, and also as a singer, etc.
