Smt Geetha Satyamurthy, a renowned vocalist, started the Vidyalaya in January 2002. Saptaswara Sangeetha Vidyalaya is a school dedicated to Carnatic classical music. The Vidyalaya has premises which gives the look of a ‘Gurukula’ has added to its virtues. The ambiance both inside and outside of this institution acts as a plus point. The students also prepare for the annual music exams. The Government of Karnataka, Pracheen Kala Kendra – Chandigarh conducts this. Some of the students have also won ‘Balashree’, ‘Kalashree’ awards.
