S Shankar is a popular Carnatic vocalist. He is the disciple of his mother Smt. Rajamma Sastry and also Smt. Nagarathna bai & Smt. Vallabham Kalyana Sundaram. A performer for more than five decades, he is an ‘A top’ grade artist of A.I.R & Doordarshan. He won the first prize in AIR competition in 1973. He has performed all over the country and at many places in the US. He has conducted music workshops at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in London. He has performed at the venue too. He has performed jugalbandi concerts with Hindustani vocalists. He has many cassettes / CDs to his credit. He has directed music for musical features, Documentaries & Dramas on AIR & DD.

Vinayak Torvi is an eminent Hindustani Classical Vocalist of international renown. Classical Music aficionados call him “Sur Lay Ka Badashah”. Torviji was born into a family of keertankars on the auspicious day of Vinayak Chaturti in 1948(4 Sept 1948). He had his early training in music under Sri. Narayan Rao Majumdar of Dharwad. Later Torvi underwent twelve years of rigorous “Gurukul” training under Gururao Deshpande. During this period he mastered the intricacies of the Gwalior Gharana as well as the Agra Gayaki. Later Panditji mastered the Kirana Gayaki under the able guidance of Sri. Bhimsen Joshi. Panditji performed at different National level music platforms. He has Performed jugalbandi with eminent artists. They are Sri. R K Srikantan, Sri. T N Sheshagopalan, Sri. S Shankar etc. He is a Regular performer for Spic Macay.
