Bangalore R Ramanath is a popular percussionist with two decades of the concert experience. He trained under several eminent gurus like T.K.Murthy, Vaidhyanadha Iyer and K.N.Krishnamurthy. He received training in Kanjira as well from C.P.Vyasa Vittala.

Ramanath is an "A" grade artist in AIR and has given programmes for AIR and Doordarshan. He has performed alongside many eminent musicians, in his career. He has been to many prestigious concerts in India and abroad.
