Prasad Kumar Ballal is a Mandolin Artist. He takes Carnatic Mandolin classes at World Music Conservatory. Prasanna began his training under Sri. Rajan, a light music artiste. After a few years, Prasanna got in touch with the violin maestro, Mysore M Nagaraj. He learned the basics of Carnatic music under him. Prasanna further continued his learning from the God of mandolin, Sri. U Srinivas himself, living in Chennai for about 3 years. For about 7 years now, Prasanna is teaching at an institution - Protsaha Academy of World music. Currently, Prasanna is pursuing his MA in music at the Bangalore University. He is also awaiting results for his A grade from AIR, Bangalore.
