Pibare Krishna Rasam is a dance production presented by the Natyasruti ensemble of Vidushi Smt. Sumitra Nitin

In this production, the kaleidoscope of Krishna's life is presented as seen through the eyes of some of India's greatest composers and poets and in various languages, weaving together the story of the adorable baby who became the master of the Universe.

Smt Sujatha Vijayaraghavan, mother of Smt Sumitra Nitin, originally conceived and presented this thematic dance presentation in 1968. After 5 decades, Sumitra has revived this production choreographing most of the pieces herself, retaining the original musical score. The production features some of traditional Vazhuvoor choreography as taught by her Guru Smt. Radha.

This dance production will be presented with accomplished live musical ensemble and the dancers are all students of Smt Sumitra.
