Pallavi Gana Sabha was formed in 1990 in memory of Pallavi S Chandrappa. The Sabha has been keeping the spirit of Carnatic music alive for the last 25 years by organising various musical events and felicitations of musicians such as R K Srikantan, Mysore V Doreswamy Iyengar, T R Subramaniam, Mysore Violin Mahadevappa, L Bheemachar, Neela Ramgopal and Shanti Rao. The main aim of the organisation is to promote Carnatic classical music.
